Revisiting “House Music” — A 2026 Remaster From My Early Release Era

Sometimes a record comes from technical obsession.
Other times… it comes from a feeling.
“House Music” definitely came from a feeling.
I originally wrote the track in 2022 and released it in 2023 — during that phase when, after more than a decade in the game, I finally committed to putting my original productions into the world under the XCENTRiC name. I’d spent years DJing, producing, and studying dancefloors… and that era marked a turning point where I stopped holding records back and started sharing them.
The concept behind “House Music” was simple and very real:that blurry, after-hours moment when the night gets a little too wild… you wake up the next day barely remembering what happened — but one thing is crystal clear.
All you can hear in your head is house music.
At 127 BPM in C minor, the track channels that late-night energy through driving Tech House grooves, my own vocals and songwriting, and the kind of hypnotic rhythm that sticks with you long after the lights come up.
This 2026 remaster isn’t a rebuild or a rewrite. The original mix and arrangement are still intact — I just gave it the best possible sonic polish using the standards I hold myself to today. Cleaner balance, tighter low-end control, improved clarity, and a little extra impact so it translates properly on modern systems.
My mixing has come a long way since that era — and that’s part of what I like about revisiting records like this. It’s a snapshot of where I was creatively at the time… upgraded just enough to stand proudly next to my newer releases.
To me, this remaster feels like closing a loop.
It captures that moment in my journey when things shifted from preparation to execution — and it preserves a piece of the nightlife-driven inspiration that’s always fueled my sound.
If you’d like to show support and grab a copy of the 2026 remaster, I’ve made it available for just $1.49, which includes both the high-fidelity WAV file and a 320 kbps MP3 version — perfect for DJs, collectors, and anyone who wants the cleanest possible version of the track. 👉 https://buymeacoffee.com/xcentric/e/506225
Appreciate everyone who’s been riding with me since those early releases — and welcome to anyone discovering the story now.
See you on the dancefloor.— XCENTRiC
